I really enjoyed this little game. Great job Dylan, Sienna, and Adam! The art and sound both felt very polished, and the combat system/UI was crisp and I had no problems with it.

The pandemic isolation is so tough and I often swing between "this isn't so bad. This is okay" and "this is awful! I don't know how to feel! I miss people so much!". It's comforting to know other people are experiencing similar things, in a solidarity kind of way.

Hang in there <3

SPOILER WARNING! (is there a formatting option for this?)

Struggling through the 2nd fight until you piece together how the systems work was the peak for me. It was very satisfying to finally piece it together after about 6 or so tries and beat it. That challenge blended well with the story at that point. In fact, the character commentary for the final boss also matched the battle for me. Great job balancing those.

Regarding your question about the tag, the game was certainly creepy. I was waiting for some spooky development in the real-life portion to cash in on the building suspense, but for what it was the horror tag is still fitting.

Question for people that have played the game (especially if you found it from the horror tag): Should I change that tag to something else? We were definitely aiming for a creepy game but I don't know if it's fair to call it a horror game. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I think a way you could make it more 'horror-esque' would be to put dialogues with objects around the apartment that seem equally 'doom and gloom'. Or self aware, especially with the (image that starts floating around). I enjoyed the challenge! Hope you add more.
