If you ever make edits and you do normalize movement, it might be nice to keep something that changes the pace. Maybe it's faster to head downwind... The changes in pace are good!
What a relaxing game! At first I was scared that there might be some big creature lurking in the waters but after playing for a while I just enjoyed the sound of the rain and the calm waters. The art style is so calming and beautiful, the way the islands light up and that light from the boat. This was very nice!
I don't know if you've heard of Game Development World Championship before (gdwc2019) but it's a competition for indie game developers where they can submit their games and it's free! It's great if you want some more visibility for the game and it only takes a couple of minutes to join :)

I really like the art and mood. Very calming and relaxing to play.
This is a beautiful game, it's pleasant and medatative and I really like zooming around the waters (going diagonally because it's faster)
The shrinking spool of wire is a very good touch, I was very pleased with it when I noticed it was shrinking as I drove away.
Thanks for your game!
Oops! Definitely forgot to normalize my movement. And I'm so glad someone noticed the cable spool :)
